Dance Me is the result of enthusiasm and hard work, inaugurated on September 2, 2016 thanks to the support and trust of our families and students. We are Carlos and Anaïs but the Dance Me Academy  belongs to all of you, the illusion and the guilty of having left our jobs and having changed our lives to fully dedicate ourselves to what we are most passionate about. Now our goal is to change the rhythm of your lives, the more we are, the more we distribute happiness! We can only say thank you, for this dream come true. In each class, in each student we leave you a piece of our heart.

Carlos Gaviro

Dance Me Manager

Born in Mérida, he lives in Castelldefels.  

He started in Cuban salsa as a hobby, falling in love not only with dance but with the music and culture of Cuba. It is formed by the hand of Cuban masters in Casino Salsa, Rueda Cubana, Son, Rumba and Afro-Cuban rhythms, its main reference being Greechen Mendez, a teacher licensed by the National Institute of Art of Cuba, as well as the great masters of Cuba and residents of Germany Didio and Yaima. In 2014 he traveled to Cuba to continue with his training in the cradle of salsa, soaking up the culture and folklore, remaining in his style with tradition and taking root in his passion for this dance, its people and its religious dances.  

In 2015 he formed a dance couple with Anaïs Nur, where he began more extensive training in modalities such as Bachata, Cha-cha, Merengue and Latin rhythms, also deepening in Kizomba thanks to the professional training of the great teacher Tomas Keita. In this same year, he joined the dance and show company Wonder Dance where he will act as a dancer in all kinds of salsa, bachata, kizomba, swing, cha-cha, flamenco, bollywood... etc. modalities. He has been a professor at different academies in Catalonia, choreographer of training groups and shows, conducts masterclasses and conferences, events and party rooms and animations. He has participated in the TV program Qué tiempo Tan Feliz by MªTeresa Campos in Telecinco. 

In 2016 he opened his own dance academy called Dance Me, being the founder and director. In that same year he participated monthly in the television sports program "El Penalti" where he performed styles such as Rock and Roll, Salsa or Bachata. He has been a live dancer in concerts of famous artists such as Dani J, Dama, Fernando Miranda, Kewin Cosmos, Esme or Grupo Extra. He has prepared the wedding dance of the famous FC Barcelona player, Marc Ter Stegen and his wife Daniela. In the competition area Carlos and Anaïs have been Champions of Catalonia 2019 and 2020. Third position of Spain 2019, International Champions of Bachatstars in Turkey novembre 2019 and 7th of the world in Moscow January 2020.

In 2021, Carlos & Anaïs have been participated in the Spanish Television Program of TVE1, The Dancer with artists like Lola Indigo, Rafa Mendez & Miguel Ángel Muñoz.

Anaïs Nur

Dance Me Manager

Born in Gavà, she lives in Castelldefels. 

She started very young in rhythmic gymnastics and later with 10 years in Ballroom dancesport . At the age of 11, she begins in the official competition in Spain dancing standard and Latin, training with the best teachers in the country. At the age of 15 she began to compete in the highest national category in Latin dances, training with international teachers and reaching the position of Finalist in the 2002 Spanish Championship Adult category, being the youngest finalist in the history and representing Spain in the European and world championships , and other international competitions. 

She was dancer, choreographer and singer of Wonder Dance professional company, she performs hundreds of performances for more than 10 years incorporating new disciplines such as salsa, bachata, Rueda Cubana, Merengue, Charleston ... etc. At the age of 18 he discovered Oriental Dance from the hand of the great Mistress Munique Neith, a unique, millenary discipline that influences her life forever, falling completely in love with Egyptian culture. 

In her career she has participated in several TV programs such as Punt de Trobada (TV3), Zona de Ball (C33), broadcast of official championships (TV1) and the most important, she has participated as a choreographer and dancer of MIRA QUIEN BAILA on Spanish Television Working with the choreographer Poty (Javier Castillo), she has also participated in the television program Qué tiempo Tan Feliz by MªTeresa Campos in Telecinco.
